Visiting a new church can be a trying experience. We want you to feel comfortable so we have tried to anticipate some of your concerns below: Please come and visitWhether you are looking for a church home, or you want to hear the word of God preached, or you are just seeking a few moments of prayer, or you want to receive Holy Communion we invite you to attend worship services at Trinity Church. Welcome.Dress comfortablySome of us wear a tie or a dress but many of us wear casual slacks and shirts or blouses. We come to worship the Lord and everything else we do takes a backseat to Him.No donation is expectedYou can put money in the offering plate if you want but we don’t expect it from visitors. Our members support the operations of the church for the benefit of all believers and all seekers.Your privacy is respectedYou won’t be asked to stand and introduce yourself. Some of our members may introduce themselves to you and want to get to know you but we will avoid doing anything that might embarrass you.Parking is availableThere is guest parking in the lot behind the church and there is additional parking on the side streets. (For directions to the church see the “Directions” tab at the top of our home page)The worship service is easy to followTrinity Church worships in the Episcopal/Anglican tradition. We use the Book of Common Prayer as our guide to worship. They are available in each pew so that you can follow along. Our service is called a “Eucharist” and during it we sing hymns, pray, listen to a message from the pastor, and celebrate the Lord’s Supper. There are two services each Sunday at 8:00 and 10:30 AM. Services typically last about an hour.All Baptized Christians are welcome at Holy CommunionIf you are baptized you are welcome to receive Holy Communion regardless of your current denomination. Those receiving Holy Communion come to the communion rail and either stand or kneel to receive.Our hope is that you will be blessedWe pray that everyone who attends worship in this place will know the real and life-changing presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Each Sunday we come together to give thanks and praise to God for all that He is and all that He has done on our behalf and on the behalf of others.
